How to heal your gut
How to heal your gut
Are you struggeling with losing weight, bloating, migraines, skin issues, back pain, anxiaty, moodswings or even depression? If the answer is yes, you are probably struggeling with your gut health since it is the key to almost everything.
I splitted the healing process in three phases. Phase 1 being the softest and safest, phase 3 being the strongest and the one who must be approached with caution.
Since every gut flora inherits different good and bad bacteris / gut bugs you'll have to listen really cloase to your body and notice if your symptoms are getting better or worse if you add or eliminate something from your normal diet. I also recommend adding or eliminating just only one thing per two weeks (at least) so that you can keep track of what is good for your body and what not.
Doing a professional allergie, parasite and fungi test at the beginning of your journey would surely help a lot and speed up the process, as well as taking probiotics.
If you want to know which probiotics are the best for your gut then read this page, follow the steps and click on my personal probiotic recommendations!
Phase 1
Take an allergie test to see if you have some intolerances you didn't know of.
Take Vitamin B, Vitamin D and Zink to improve your immun system.
Reduce inflammatory foods like sugery and oily foods.
Eat more high-collagen food to build a barrier for the bad microbiota bacteria.
Eat gut-soothing foods like cooked foods, juiced fruits & vegetables
Eat high fiber foods OR high fat foods and try to feel what works better for your gut.
Phase 2
Try the keto diet to get rid of bad bacteria and parasites and reduce inflammation.
Detox your liver by taking milk thistle supplements, calcuim D-Glucarate, NAC or liposomal glutathione. Eat bitter greens like dandelion leaves, raw radishes and mustard greens. Try inclueding more vegetables like broccoli, kale, collard greens, bok choy and arugula into your diet.
Take natural digestive aids if your gut is struggeling with digesting. Betaine HCL, Apple cider vinegar and ginger are helpful ingrediants.
Intermittent fasting might help starving out the bad gut bugs.

Phase 3
If your gut still hasn't improved even with all of the steps above, you might now want to kill theese bad gut bugs by force!
Take biofilm disrupting supplements to destroy any protective home in which theese bad gut bugs may hide. Take Garlic, NAC and coconut oil.
Eat probiotic foods so that the good gut bacteria can multiply and crowd out the bad bacteria. Try eating small amounts of sauerkraut, kimchi, coconut based yogurt, plain yogurt and kombucha. If you tolerate the probiotic foods you can also try to get probiotic powders or capsules but they tend to be much stronger. They have many good benefits for the gut and overall health but you should still be careful and increase the amount slowley over time.

Eat anti-bacterial foods to kill the bad bacteria. Try cinnamon, clove and garlic. If you tolerate them you can try oregano oil, olive leaf, berberine or grapefruit seed extract but everything in small amounts!
If you think you could have a parasite next to the bad gut bacteries because the symptomes wont disappear, then you should try anti-parasitic foods like papaya seeds. If your symptomes get stonger make a parasite test to see which kind you have.
If you want to know if you have some gut fungi try eating some anti-fungal foods like coconut oil. Try eating one table spoon raw coconut oil per day to get the most effects.
Try anti-microbial supplements such as wormwood, cloves, black walnut and pau de arco, but of course always in little amounts!
Since every gut flora will react differently to all the stepps written above it is hard to say how much time the process of healing your gut will take. But if you want it to happen safly and sustainable you will have to look forward to a year or maybe even more. Taking a professional alergie, parasite and fungi test at the doctor will speed up the process a lot, as well as taking the right probiotics.
